GIS Workshop Nov. 4th, 10:00-11:30, O'Neill 245
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) are used for visualizing, managing, creating, and analyzing geographic data. GIS use is growing at Boston College in fields such as Nursing, Social Work, History, Theology and Economics but has applications in all disciplines. GIS workshops are offered once a semester by Barbara Mento, Data/GIS Librarian and Constantin Andronache, Research Services, ITS.
