This core database from the American Hospital Association contains comprehensive hospital survey data from 6,500 hospitals surveyed
about their operations. New facility and service categories are added
each year. Data can be used to identify health care trends. Variables
include: demographics, organizational structure, facilities and
services, utilization data, community orientation indicators, physician
arrangements, managed care relationships and expenses. Years owned include 1993, 2000, 2009 and 2010. Restricted to Boston College community.
