Endangered Data at Boston College
April 19, 3–5 pm.

O’Neill Library, Digital Studio, Room 205
Are you worried about the availability and preservation of publicly accessible data? Boston College's Digital Scholarship Group and Scholarly Communications will be hosting events for Endangered Data Week. On April 19, our Data Refuge event will focus on pulling data.gov data & metadata for grants from the NEH, IMLS, and other federal agencies. We'll be doing short presentations on eScholarship, Dataverse, and other data rescue efforts across the country. You'll also have a chance to get your hands dirty and deposit data and metadata into a repository for safekeeping!

This event is free and open to the public, but we kindly request that you register.
